Vital Living Acquires Rights To Geomatrix

Vital Living, Inc., Phoenix, AZ, has ac­quired exclusive rights to the Geomatrix™ oral drug-delivery technology to develop proprietary, sustained-released formulations of five of its nutraceuticals through its licensing collaboration with SkyePharma PLC, London, U.K. Geomatrix technology is a system that controls the amount, timing and location of release in the body. The technology is currently in use in a number of prescription drugs approved by FDA and other regulatory agencies worldwide. Vital Living has incorporated Geomatrix technology into its echinacea/goldenseal, ginkgo biloba, ginseng, milk thistle and St. John’s Wort products.
